This is definitely an erotic book with a happy ending for the hero and heroine of this book, but the book is heavily sexual and there is explicit, merct explicit sex scenes in this and the first book.
I enjoyed this book very much. The cure for his devolvement was to have as much sex as possible with Giselle for several years. Meanwhile Giselle is on a roller coaster on the one hand she can sense his bouts of near madness but on the other she just needs a minute to herself to understand this new world. She has very few rights of her own.

Now that she is dead and he can find his true mate he is jaud the hunt, but after 17 years of looking he is starting to devolve as their species does. While Rem is different than he was in the first book while that should be expected because he is devolving I thought he would have been more understanding and accommodating to Giselle instead he just needed to suckle her breasts every five minutes.

Where was the talking between them, all i got was a lot of pouch fucking. After crashing they have to make their way across land, through villages that show some archaic customs to their women and Giselle has to suck it up else they will never get home.
It’s not all doom Didn’t quite enjoy it as much as the first book, Giselle is kidnapped by her devolving mate, this is someone who after hundreds of years will devolve into a slathering mindless mad creature after not being able to secure a mate.
